As our Senior Civil Technician/CADD Manager, you will work on-site at our Grand Rapids, Michigan or Phoenix, Arizona office and will apply your professional knowledge to support Engineers to deliver site design and construction document services with minimal oversight. In this role you will:

• Independently create drawings for multiple large/complex projects from design intent provided by the Engineer
• Prepare documents under the supervision of Project Manager or Civil Engineer, beginning with rough sketches or general engineering and design information
• Calculate dimensions, profile specifications, and quantities of materials such as earthwork, concrete, and asphalt
• Translate mark-ups into revised drawings and review drawings for completeness as well as accuracy prior to submitting to the Project Manager

We believe a successful Senior Civil Technician/CADD Manager will come equipped with the following: 

• Associates or Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering, CAD, Design Technology or similar education and/or requisite experience or certificate – required

• 10 years of related experience – required
• Advanced skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D – required
