Duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment or manual lifting
- Verify the contents of each shipment against delivery documents
- Collect payments from customers, if required
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Proficient in driving various types of vehicles, including those with manual transmission
- Capable of lifting heavy objects (up to [weight limit]) and performing physical tasks throughout the workday
- Familiarity with refrigerated trailers and maintaining appropriate temperatures for perishable goods is a plus
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or operating a forklift is advantageous
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in route driving is preferred
