Position Overview

Pantheon Data is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Project Director to lead and enhance the performance and data integrity initiatives within the Department of Labor's Job Corps program. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in policy analysis, program evaluation, research, and data integrity audits, coupled with extensive statistical and data analysis skills. This strategic role requires a visionary leader who can effectively steer complex projects and initiatives aimed at advancing the effectiveness and accountability of the Job Corps program.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of policies and strategies that support the Job Corps program's objectives, focusing on performance accountability and data integrity.
  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of current Job Corps initiatives and projects.
  • Provide expert guidance on data collection methodologies, analysis, and reporting techniques.
  • Develop and administer surveys to gather critical data and insights that inform policy and program improvements.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of advanced data visualization and modernization projects to enhance stakeholder engagement and understanding.
  • Ensure rigorous data integrity audits are conducted regularly, proposing and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Manage the development and upkeep of an Enterprise Risk Management Dashboard to monitor and report on potential risks.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including government officials, educational bodies, and community organizations, to align Job Corps data and policy initiatives with broader educational and employment goals.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports to senior management and external stakeholders, providing clear insights and recommendations based on data analysis and research findings.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Master's degree in Public Policy, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 15 years experience in policy analysis, program evaluation, research, and data management.
  • Proven expertise in statistical analyses, data integrity auditing, and performance measurement.
  • Strong experience in data visualization and modern data management systems.
  • Demonstrable skills in developing and managing large-scale surveys and effective data collection.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-stakes projects and multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Ph.D. in a relevant field.
  • Familiarity with the Job Corps or similar workforce development initiatives and/or experience working in programs focused on youth education and employment.

Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

Work Location

Hybrid with regular attendance at meetings, etc. in Washington, DC DOL/OJC facilities.
