Pantheon Data was founded in 2011, initially providing acquisition and supply chain management services to the US Coast Guard. Our service offerings have grown in the past ten years, including infrastructure resiliency, contact center operations, information technology, software engineering, program management, strategic communications, engineering, and cybersecurity. We have also grown our customer base to include commercial clients. The company has used this experience to expand our service offerings to other agencies within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Defense (DoD), and other Federal Civilian Agencies.

Position Overview

Pantheon Data has an immediate need for a Senior Oracle PeopleSoft SME to support our federal client. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in managing and administering complex PeopleSoft HR and Payroll systems, with a strong focus on meeting federal client requirements. This role involves leading efforts in reviewing, maintaining and enhancing system performance, ensuring seamless integration with other enterprise applications, and managing a large user base in a secure and compliant federal environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic review of design, configuration, and ongoing operations of PeopleSoft HR and Payroll modules of complex PeopleSoft installation in multiple environments to ensure alignment with federal operational standards and objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scopes, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Manage complex PeopleSoft projects involving multiple integrations and adapt to rapidly changing federal requirements.
  • Support enterprise-wide application transformation efforts by understanding present-day application architectures and recommending equivalent PeopleSoft architectures where applicable.
  • Ensure robust security practices are integrated into the PeopleSoft environment, complying with federal security mandates and data protection policies.
  • Provide expert guidance on PeopleSoft capabilities and limitations to senior management to aid strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Facilitate the migration, testing, and implementation of new PeopleSoft features and upgrades.
  • Develop and enforce policies for effective data management and security in accordance with federal standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in managing Oracle PeopleSoft environments with a focus on HR and Payroll functionalities.
  • Proven track record of working with federal clients and understanding of federal compliance and security requirements.
  • Strong experience in managing large-scale PeopleSoft implementations with thousands of users and complex integrations.
  • Expertise in PeopleSoft security administration, including application of best practices and compliance with federal security protocols.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and guiding technical teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Working knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology
  • JIRA/Confluence
  • Hands-on experience in cloud transformation efforts
  • AWS (Amazon Web Services), Microsoft Azure certification(s) a plus.

Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance.

Work Location

Arlington, Virginia - Hybrid. In office 3 days a week.
