SUMMARY

Supports accounting and administration team by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Process accounts payable invoices and enter data.
• Process accounts receivable invoices and remittance and enter data.
• Assist with reports for month end close out.
• Open and process mail as needed.
• Runs errands as needed by accounting or admin support.
• Provides back up support to Accounting Manager.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibility.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving ability.

• General knowledge of accounting and understanding of the general ledger accounts and how they relate to invoices.
• Sales Tax Knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
• Detail oriented with a proficient working knowledge of Excel

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent

MUST have Clerical, Data Entry & Customer Service skills.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend complex Instructions, short correspondence, and memos in the English language.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.

Ability to perform these operations using units of American money, weights, and measurements.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Peachtree, Outlook, Spreadsheets,

Graphs and E-mail

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions.

Ability to discern when other parties need to be involved in validating priorities.

Valid Driver’s License
