Description
Pampered Paws West Grooming is seeking a Part-Time Retail Assistant to join our passionate team. Ideally, we are looking for part-time hours from 9:30 until 1:30 five days a week, but have flexibility with the work schedule. We are open from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Our salary range is $15.00 - $16.00 an hour depending on experience and the opportunity to work in a fun and fulfilling environment in the pet industry. You will have the chance to interact with pet owners and help them find the perfect products for their furry friends in addition to checking in and out customers, making appointments, providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store, and contributing to the overall success of our grooming business. Responsibilities
•Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
•Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
•Check grooming customers in and out of the salon.
•Recommend and sell pet products.
•Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
•Schedule appointments leaving no gaps between appointments
•Provide information about services and products to customers.
Qualifications
•2 years of in a retail environment with heavy traffic
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
•Familiarity or ability to learn appointment scheduling system
•Comfortable working with computers and related equipment
•US Work Authorization
