Ideal candidates are available to work through September or longer. On the F&B front, you will experience the operation of an F&B department in a resort/country club environment with the opportunity to:Learn to program and run restaurant POS/reservation systemsUphold opening and closing protocols and service standardsDevelop managerial skills through supervision of restaurantsUnderstand multi-venue execution and team serviceLearn inventory controlsHelp run on-course F&B operation, including snack bars and beverage cartsCheck weekly forecasts and adjust procedures and staffing accordinglyAs business allows, you may have the opportunity at times to support the Events staff, as follows:Assist with setup and confirmation of a floor plan design.Check in and communicate with a bridal party or golf group throughout the wedding or golf event (day of).Learn to read BEOs (Banquet Event Order) and ensure these specifications are followed throughout the day.Welcome guests as they arrive for ceremonies/events and assist as-needed with guests, bridal party, and golfers.Assist with décor and set-up on event day.Assist with Banquet service, ceremony, and event details.RequirementsCurrently enrolled as a sophomore, junior, or senior in a four-year college programEmphasis of study preferred to be focused on hospitality, resort, or restaurant managementStrong organizational, leadership and communication skillsCapable of a minimum 12-week commitment
