- Support the development and delivery of fitness program at the GN Member's Club Wellness Center.
- Lead regular group workout classes.
- Ensure the safety of clients during training sessions and ensure clients train safely with proper form and technique.
- Accurately assess clients at the start of their fitness journey, compile reports, and develop fitness levels.
- Consult with clients to understand their goals and current fitness levels.
- Inspire and assist clients in reaching their goals
- Provide clients with regular feedback and accountability on their progress.
- Motivate clients who have reached a fitness or weigh loss plateau
- Monitor BMI on a regular basis
- Possess a passion and drive for health, wellness and fitness.
- Up-to-date on the latest trends in the fitness industry in order to provide solutions for clients' fitness needs.
- Team player with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and attention to detail.
- Current group exercise certification such as ACSM, NASM, or ACE.
- Current fitness insurance as an independent contractor - e.g., personal Fitness insurance coverage from IDEA Health and Fitness (Philadelphia Insurance Company).
- Certified in CPR/AED and First Aid.
- For yoga instruction, 200-hour certification is required.
