As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team.

Position Overview: The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in electrical work, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering superior craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to the success of our team.

Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in accordance with local building codes and regulations
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine electrical requirements
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs as needed
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate electrical work on construction projects
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices to prevent accidents and injuries
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects
• Mentor and train apprentice electricians as needed

Qualifications:

• Valid journeyman or masters electrician license or equivalent certification if applicable
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a journeyman electrician
• Thorough understanding of electrical systems and components
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
