Overview

This position works from 8:45am until approximately 5:30pm Monday - Thursday and 8:45am until approximately 6:30pm Friday from mid May through mid August. Successful candidates for this position should have the ability to work with people, handle cash and financial transactions, and be comfortable promoting the credit union's products and services. The primary focuses of this position are accurate member transactions, providing a high level of quality member service and promoting products and services to meet the needs of the members. In addition to salary, opportunities to earn incentives are also available.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, friendly and professional service to members in person and by telephone, including handling deposits, loan payments, transfers, withdrawals, and other financial transactions.
• Assist members with account research and maintenance; answer account and service related questions.
• Maintain an accurate knowledge of security procedures and internal controls.
• Develop knowledge of products and services to assist members with solutions to their financial needs.
• Maintain a balanced and secured cash drawer, balanced supply of tickets, and other consigned items.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Bilingual candidates a plus.
