We have immediate openings in Pooler for experienced Forklift and / or Reach Truck Operators with a starting pay rate of $18, depending on experience and equipment knowledge.
We are looking for candidates who want to work for a stable, growing company. This is a direct hire position! Benefits will be available the first of the month after 60 days of employment.
Benefits include medical, dental and vision; Life Insurance, Critical Illness, Accident and Hospital policies and 401k.
Responsibilities :
- Must be able to operate of sit-down forklift, 1-3 years experience
- Must be able to operate reach truck 1-3 years of experience
- Must be able to do order pick up
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions
- Work OT when needed (last minute request will occur)
- Attendance and punctuality are important
- Must be able to work in a congested area(s)
- RF scanner experience / scanning required
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Schedule : Mon - Fri 7 : 00am - 4 : 00pm
- Ability to work entire shift in addition to overtime including weekends to meet business needs
- Additional information : not limited to just driving forklift - must label, band, stretch wrap and clean drums and totes.
Some restacking of bags and pails will be required.
Able to lift up to 50lbs and adjust body to bend, push, pull, stretch, stoop, squat and grab; walking and sitting for extended periods
Requirements :
- Must have 1-3 years forklift experience in a logistics environment
- Handling of hazardous material is a plus
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language
- Detail-oriented and capable of performing basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
