Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for providing administrative support in a medical office setting. This position requires data entry, appointment scheduling, and good customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Verify patient information, insurance and update medical records
- Collect patient co-pays and process insurance information
- Assist with medical administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and address their inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations of the office

Skills:
- Experience working with medical records and performing medical administrative support tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with phone systems and handling high call volumes

Requirements:

-Bilingual English/Spanish
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in medical office administration is a plus
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist preferred but not a required
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in a healthcare setting
