Key Results Area - Palm Industries, Inc.

Role: Project Manager

Regular Office Hours: 8am - 5pm (salaried)
*****LOCATION : We are currently seeking a project manager for our Southern Oregon and Northern California Coast Regions. This position will operate out of our Brookings, Oregon Office.*****

Palm's Mission Statement: “Providing emergency services and restoration to structures with Care, Quality and Precision.”

Summary:

The project manager is responsible for managing projects from mitigation to complete buildback. Project managers are responsible for the "work getting done" portion and will work alongside project estimators to direct customer change orders, questions and requests to project estimator. This role's primary focus is helping the palm team succeed within each project and being efficient.

Key Results Area #1 - Project Coordination

Project Manager oversees and directs project from mitigation to build back phase to oversee project is going as planned.

Create material list after all demolition is completed.

Get materials ordered and create gaant/schedule to help keep workflow organized.

Gannt Chart to be finalized within 1 week of approved estimate. Contact subs to schedule work.

Project manager to alert estimator with any/all change orders required for project.

Project Manager to do daily work orders for crew and keep job progress updated daily in DASH.

Key Results Area #2 - Team Success

Be proactive in maintaining positive company culture.

Be a positive person of influence and action for team, subs and customer's.

Be orderly and precise with project details and readily available to help other team members on projects when needed.

Have clear written and oral communication for every project for team to follow.

Must be goal oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple project at same time for team success.

Consistently work on keeping team on project up to date and focused on task at hand following chain of command and organization chart.

Key Results Area #3 - Culture

Exceptional customer service with customers, team, agents, adjusters and subcontractors.

No gossip or negative talk - Talk to build up! Concerns go up the ladder compliments down the ladder.

Be a good fit with company culture and concepts. Be a promoter of company values and mission.

Project Manager Requirements and Qualifications

  • IICRC Certifications, Restoration Manager and Xactimate software a plus
  • 3-5 years of prior experience in restoration project management
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Able to travel
  • Flexible schedule
  • Valid driver’s license, ability to pass a drug screen and background check
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Safety conscious

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
