About this role
Responsible for providing assistance in the STEM labs for setup and maintenance. Assists instructors in lab preparation, instruction, and maintenance.
Sets up and organizes lab resources. Stocks and controls inventory of equipment and supplies. Conducts daily cleaning. Serves as a monitor and tutor during open lab hours.Varies
Base Pay : $15.78. Offer amount based on College's Salary Schedule guidelines
Duties and Responsibilities :

Sets up, organizes, and maintains lab resources. Properly disposes of used lab debris.
Assists with the development, evaluation, and purchase of lab and program materials and resources. Collaborates with instructors to align lab resources with course curriculum.
Maintains current inventory of supplies and equipment. Takes inventory counts on a periodic schedule. Stocks materials and equipment in stock keeping areas.
Maintains the lab and inspects equipment and machinery for safe operation. Reports any observed problems to supervisor. Arranges for repair of equipment and machinery when necessary.
Provides consultation and assistance regarding specific matters within area of expertise including lab operational procedures.
Prepares and review documents for completeness. Processes completed documents as necessary.
Assists faculty with preparing and dismantling class materials, activities, and projects.
Follows established safety practices. Maintains and performs in a safe workplace.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications :
Education and Experience :
High school diploma or GED and college coursework within discipline
One year of related experience
Knowledge of :
Microsoft Office Professional or similar application
Maintaining lab equipment (Including physical, digital, etc.)
AutoCAD, Rhino 3d, Adobe Suite, Revit, or related software
Skilled in :
Attention to detail while maintaining effective time and task management
Licenses, Registration, Certifications, or Special Requirements :
Regular physical attendance required
Work Environment and Physical Demand :
Lift, carry, push, pull, install or remove objects weighing 20 to 49 pounds
Lift, carry, push, pull, install or remove objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds
Reach and grasp objects
Stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Stand for extended periods of time
Use of video display terminal
Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skills
Identify and distinguish colors and shades of color
Receive and understand information through oral and written communication
Proofread and check documents for accuracy
Work with equipment or perform procedures where carelessness may result in injury
Experience exposure to uncomfortable work environment due to extreme temperature, noise level, and other conditions
Risk for occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens
Work a fluctuating work schedule
