Pain Specialty Group is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Newington, NH

We are a busy growing specialty medical practice, looking for a full time medical assistant.

Specifically, we are looking for a friendly, outgoing person who can relate well to co-workers and patients and who is familiar with health insurance and medical terminology.

We offer a competitive salary and benefit package, a 4-5 day work week (no evenings or weekends) with opportunities to increase work hours.

The specific tasks of the job are varied and include the following:

  • Greet and register patients- Handle front administrative tasks
  • Triaging phone calls, scheduling, verifying insurance and getting precerts for procedures
  • Perform all required triage duties (vitals, height/weight)
  • Direct patients to available examination rooms
  • Chart prep.
  • Basic clinical intake.
  • Collect biological specimens and perform testing when requested
  • Ensure each room is cleaned after each patient encounter
  • Assist Physician with patient care when requested
  • Sterilization of all medical instruments after use
  • Replenish supplies in the exam rooms
  • Ensure patient flow is speedy and organized
  • Discharge patients from room with instructions

You should be an upbeat, positive and professional in person and on the phone with excellent communication skills is. Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic will ensure your success with us.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
