Pacific Steel Recycling is Hiring a Training and Development Specialist Near Great Falls, MT

Job candidates with current or prior experience working at an employee-owned company is preferred, but not required.

POSITION SUMMARY: This position will work directly with the Training and Development Manager and Human Resources Director to assist with the administration and responsibilities associated with our Igniter Group (Culture Ambassadors), our Continuous Improvement Activity (C.I.A.) program, Branch visits/support, corporate communication, marketing, and ongoing training and development programs.

KEY RESULTS:

1. Lead and continue to grow our Igniter program and impact of campaigns to reinforce Pacific’s values and strengthen our culture of ownership (i.e., monthly meetings, project oversight, other)

2. Oversee the administration and development of our continuous improvement Monthly Recap videos in a timely manner and assist with the continued growth of our C.I.A. program.

3. Visit Branches across our footprint reinforcing Pacific’s values to maintain/improve relationships with employee-owners, provide customer service, and show support of events (i.e., community service, team-building, celebrations, etc.)

4. Help maintain and improve our Corporate to Branch communication related to, but not limited to the quarterly Corp Report newsletter, PacNet (intranet page), VivaEngage (social media feed), Paylocity, our annual company-wide survey, and other HR communication.

5. Assist in the responsibilities associated with corporate trainings through both our Learner Management System (LMS) and classroom/offsite trainings (i.e., registration, marketing/communication, hotel/meeting room accommodations, content creation, Department/Branch support, other).

6. Promote pride of ownership and strengthen the Pacific Steel & Recycling Brand with marketing ideas and initiatives related, but not limited to, our Pacific store.

QUALIFICATIONS

*High School diploma or equivalent.

*Ability to travel 20% of time and relocate to Great Falls, MT (required)

*Proven leadership skills and ability to develop strong team relationships.

*Strong interpersonal skills, including writing, speaking, presenting, and active listening.

*Ability to create and facilitate effective meetings and presentations (in-person and virtual)

*Effectively collaborate with multiple teams and projects, setting goals & accomplishing tasks by set deadlines.

*Great organizational, time-management and prioritization skills.

*Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated.

*Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including, but not limited to Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

*Previous experience with some form of marketing/promotion/graphic design (preferred).
