Regional Operations Manager (Renton Office)
Salary $90,000 with Bonus

The Pacific Security Operations Manager is responsible for division cohesion and consistency at their assigned locations. This includes accounting, budgeting, client relationships, personnel, legal compliance, planning, overall division profitability, ensuring safety, and vehicle/equipment maintenance. The Operations Manager ensures directives of subordinates are carried through and quality standards are met. This position requires an understanding of subordinate job functions and customer demands as well as the capacity to share that knowledge to train others. Work outside of normal business hours may be required.

Essential Functions:
· Assist in coaching, developing, and training branch staff to meet division needs. This includes oversight in company policy execution by employees, assistance in completing projects as directed by management, and providing support to employees when performing their job duties.
· Primary client point-of-contact for branch accounts. Maintain ongoing client contact for feedback and proactive resolution of operational issues including site visits, meeting attendance, timely response and follow-up, phones calls, reviewing client reports, and other special events.
· Address and resolve major customer complaints, including collection calls pertaining to service issues.
· Learn client site requirements - write and maintain Post Orders, work with Operations Supervisor to assign cross-training for major site succession planning.
· Respond to incoming sales requests.
· Review guard and patrol profitability reports and make adjustments as necessary.
· Establish annual location budget, review monthly variances, and develop plan to correct budget missed targets or goals.
· Ensure oversight and regular use of financial reports to manage key performance indicators including overtime, open shifts, retention, over/under hours, DLR%, Net Income, and ability to take last minute jobs.
· Communicate annual rate increases to customers and ensure current contracts exist.
· Divisional strategic planning in alignment with corporate goals.
· Ensure insurance and legal compliance for existing clients.
· Directly responsible for new account start-ups and transitions, ensuring staffing levels are met, training and uniform issues are addressed, and physically participating in startup activities to ensure a smooth transition.
· Identify hiring needs and oversee the hiring process with recruitment team.
· Responsible for up-to-date training or coordinating training for all employees.
· Ensure staff meets all client and company standards, and that policies regarding coaching and correction are followed consistently, employee complaints are promptly reported and resolved, and compliance with employee relations are followed.
· Be accessible in the field to spot-check guards on site, participate in inspections, communicate company goals, and perform “meet and greets” with employees and clients.
· Maintain and monitor timekeeping, and operational reporting systems.
· Manage employee recognition, performance, and communication programs.
· Assist with Interviews and schedule candidates for onboarding.
· Complete Modification of Job Offers for various employment changes.
· Process employee termination paperwork.
· Review and release injury/accident reports by 12pm each day.
· Maintain employee notes.
· Review patrol routes and schedule to optimize for efficiency.
· Oversee annual guard license renewals and tracking.
· Manage branch fleet division- responsible for all vehicle maintenance, collision estimates and repairs.
· Ensure patrol drivers are accurately trained according to policy.
· Compliance for OSHA & WISHA programs, general safety compliance, and responsible for safety committee elections.
· Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Ability to effectively communicate, both spoken and written
· Proficient with emails, spreadsheets, and word processing; Microsoft fluency
· Self-motivated and continual improvement minded
· Ability to pass criminal background check
· Clean driving record and ability to become an authorized driver
· Ability to pass WA State DOL Security Guard and Certified Trainer requirements.
Education:
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience, with minimum 5 years managerial experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Maintain active Security Officer License in the state of Washington.
