Pacific Oral Surgery and Implants is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Oregon, OR

At Pacific Oral Surgery and Implants, our commitment to excellence is achieved in an environment of compassionate and dedicated service to our patients, our staff, and our referring doctors.

We use cutting-edge technology and the latest techniques in oral surgery to ensure optimal outcomes and excellent patient experiences. We specialize in wisdom teeth removal, and dental implant placement, including All-on-4.

Currently, our practice is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant for our practice in Oregon City, OR. The ideal candidate will bring prior dental experience and demonstrate skills in teamwork, communication and organization. Prior Oral Surgery Assistant Experience is a plus!

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients before appointments.
  • Prepare patient charts, record treatment plans, and update dental records.
  • Operate X-ray and 3D scanning equipment and develop radiographs for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments, materials, and equipment in accordance with infection control practices.
  • Assist the surgeon with all chairside procedures including operatory setup and cleanup.
  • Prepare patients for surgery and monitor vital signs during procedures.
  • Provide patients with information on oral health care, treatment plans, and postoperative outcomes.
  • Monitor stock of surgical supplies and medication and replenish these, as needed.
  • Ensure that instruments and equipment are effectively maintained.
  • Provide excellent patient care at all times.

Minimum Requirements

  • Prior Dental Experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Background in Oral Surgery a Plus!
