Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing efforts and driving brand awareness. This position is responsible for the application of common marketing methods for the purposes of branding, internal and external customer relations. Duties include assisting in physician-driven outreach via personal dinners, meetings and continuing education events; serving as a liaison for referring practices for Pacific Northwest Retina; management of the PNWR website and online presence; organizing regular events and promotions for the benefit of Pacific Northwest Retina staff and surrounding communities; and assisting in development of printed marketing content for the practice.
Essential Functions
1) Fostering Patient referrals
- Site visits to the Referring Offices within the PNWR marketing territories
o Meeting all the local practice managers
o Setting up OD education dinners
o Setting up MD education dinners
- Set up physician to physician meetings
- Ordering and delivery of branded items or tools for referral source office use
2) Develop Research Center outreach to referring physicians
- Develop written marketing materials
- Ad buys
- In person outreach
- Setting up Physician to Physician meetings
3) Online Maintenance in coordination with Director of Front Office
- Regularly post updated content on PNWR website and social media, coordinate these tasks with ICG Link, if needed Developing and maintaining social media presence (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Blog, Podcast etc)
- Assist with creating new content – written and multimedia, including news blogs and departmental updates
- Social Media management
- Management of third-party NAP Profile listing (e.g. Google Business, WebMD, Healthgrades, etc.)
4) Standardization of Outgoing Correspondence, Company-wide
- Compilation of all external correspondence in each department
- Modification where needed to achieve unified branding and quality correspondence
- Assist other departments in Identification and Removal of all extraneous versions of correspondence
5) Physician dinners educational meetings
- Scheduling and calendar details
- Invitations distribution – mailed, faxed, emailed as appropriate
- Venue details and set up at events
- Coordinating physician recruitment dinners and tours in collaboration with CEO and managing physician
6) Pacific Northwest Retina Charity Sponsorship Events/Employee Events
- Work interdepartmentally with HR and physicians to promote charitable events sponsored by PNWR
- Promote events externally via Face-to-Face Marketing
- Create or order necessary printed promotional materials
- Attend all PNWR sponsored events
7) Patient and Physician Satisfaction
- Monitor and manage patient and physician satisfaction through vendor provided tools, or in person referring physician meetings and report results as needed to physicians and management (I.E. Google reviews, Healthgrades)
8) Evaluate effectiveness of all duties and marketing/outreach needs
- Meet with PNWR practice leadership and physicians to assess marketing/outreach needs and gauge success of all efforts.
Education, Training, and Experience:
· Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in related fields
· Requires strong ability to communicate effectively with physicians through written and verbal methods.
· Requires ability to learn operations of multiple programs including proprietary practice management systems and multiple website content management systems
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
· Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop and Premiere desired
Typical Physical Demands:
Position requires prolonged sitting, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and driving. Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, typical office equipment, basic audio/visual presentation setup and driving. Employee must have normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports.
Typical Working Conditions:
Position may function within a normal office environment or remotely, includes regular travel throughout the Pacific Northwest. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to fulfill assigned duties as dictated by fluctuations in workload volumes and/or special events.
