Position Summary
The Electric Distribution Operations Field Safety leadership team ensures safe field practices and assists in closing performance gaps.
The teams partner with the Distribution Operations leaders to facilitate understanding and improvement of safe work practices.
The leaders also assist with job planning and storm response safety support. These leaders promote all company and regulatory safety policies and procedures.
Field safety personnel also investigate human performance incidents, document root causes and develop metrics to monitor future performance.
Constantly reinforces the organizational safety culture and related behaviors.
Headquarter location is flexible within the Central valley location.
PG&E is providing the hourly rate range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time ofthe job posting.
This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual hourly rate paid to an individualwill be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications,experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.
Although we estimatethe successful candidate hiredinto this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decisionwill be made on a case-by-casebasis related to these factors.
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $41.35 to $62.02.
Responsibilities :
May conduct the more complex investigations independently.
Reviews staff's investigation findings, handling any escalated issues or concerns from involved supervisors or managers.
May escalate complex issues to Manager, Field Safety.
