Description

Our Credit Union is growing! With the growth Pacific Crest is experiencing and the development and expansion of our teams and departments, we are excited to be seeking the next member of our Marketing Team.

The Marketing Specialist will contribute to the marketing team’s success through the collaborative development, production, and delivery of multi-channel marketing collateral that is effective, innovative, reinforces the Pacific Crest Brand and contributes to the Crest member experience. Fulfilling Pacific Crest Federal Credit Union’s (Pacific Crest) mission of providing our members and communities with the opportunity to prosper through marketing and community involvement efforts.

Essential Job Functions

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand project objectives requirements to understand and deliver on the department’s responsibilities for the project.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to plan and produce collateral for staff and for delivery across a variety of communication channels, especially social media, website, and email.
  • Assist in planning, preparing, and executing community involvement efforts such as tabling, networking, and business development, member, and community financial education, and staff volunteer opportunities.
  • Review and ensure accuracy, functionality, and compliance of website, and contribute to the development and deployment of content and campaigns.
  • Ensure staff are appropriately informed of marketing campaigns and efforts.
  • Ensure the integrity and functionality of various marketing databases and systems.
  • Continuously pitch creative ideas for marketing campaigns, and product or service improvement.
  • Work with vendors to maintain stock of “logo” supplies.
  • Assist in daily department needs.

Qualifications


Education and Experience

  • Experience managing social media
  • Experience in website management and SEO
  • Photography experience with color correction
  • Graphic design experience preferred
  • Video editing experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Firm understanding of photographic elements (composition, lighting, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent technical skills.
  • Self-Motivated to learn and grow within the position.

  • A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) is necessary.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching below, at, and over shoulder level required.
  • Sitting – 80%; standing and walking – 20%.
  • Hearing, visual, and verbal ability required.
  • Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required.
