As a non-CDL Driver, you will make multi-stop business-to-business deliveries in and around the Hammond, LA area. Deliveries are made using a 26' Box Truck with Lift Gate and consist of unloading freight at local retail stores. Palletized freight is unloaded using a manual pallet jack. At times, deliveries will be heavy touch when cartons require hand delivery using a cart. Drivers are generally assigned routes 5 days per week, Monday through Friday with deliveries during the first shift. A typical route takes approximately 8 hours and starts between 5 am and 8 am (dependent on route assignment).

Key Responsibilities for Non-CDL Box Truck Driver:

• Operate a 26' Box Truck with Lift Gate
• Pick up freight and deliver to Pace's customers in scheduled time-frame
• Breakdown pallets for customers as needed
• Deliver cartons (boxes) to customer store using carts/pallet jack
• Use Pace delivery app/scanner to track and document all deliveries
• Maintain good relationships with our customers when making deliveries
• Punctuation, and accuracy within customer time windows on all deliveries
• Timely communication with the team regarding route issues
• Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.

• Must meet background and drug screening requirements
• Valid DOT Med Card
• Drivers must be 21 or older
• Class D license
