As a Class A CDL Driver, you will be responsible for deliveries between Pace cross docks or customer locations in the Hammond, LA, and surrounding areas. Deliveries are dropped and hook for trailers/freight.  Home Daily. Drivers are assigned routes up to 5 days per week, Monday - Friday.

Key Responsibilities for Class A Linehaul Truck Driver:

• Pick up freight/trailers and deliver on time to scheduled locations. 
• Home Daily
• Use Pace delivery app/scanner to track and document all deliveries.
• Maintain good relationships with our customers when delivering.
• Punctuation, and accuracy on all deliveries.
• Safety First! Driving your assigned truck safely and responsibly.
• Following all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Reporting problems with your truck including accidents, traffic violations, and damages.
• Providing our customers with a first in-class experience.

What does it take to work for Pace?

• Preferred 1 year or more of experience driving a CDL A qualified commercial vehicle. 
• Must meet background and drug screening requirements.
• Drivers must be 21 or older.
