Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will work closely with the orthodontist to provide exceptional patient care and support. Your role will involve assisting with orthodontic procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring patient comfort.
Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures
- Assist the orthodontist during examinations and treatments
- Assist with the placement and removal of orthodontic appliances
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and care for orthodontic appliances
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical documentation software (Curve)
- Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures
- Collaborate with the orthodontist to develop treatment plans for patients
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient comfort throughout their visit
Experience:
- Previous experience as an Orthodontic Assistant
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
