Oxbow Calcining LLC is currently looking for a Chemist t to join our team in our Enid, OK office. This position will be responsible for maintaining a high level of quality control and quality assurance for the certification of product quality as well as providing technical support and guidance for laboratory operations: procedure writing and training.

Essential Job Duties:

• Comply with all of Oxbow’s Health & Safety Policies.
• Responsible for understanding and complying with all International Standards Organization (ISO) requirements applicable to the facility, including, but not limited to, compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations, and quality requirements.
• Supports quality policies and procedures.
• Maintains and calibrates equipment systems to support the testing process.
• Reviews test sample preparation and methods for compliance to industry standards.
• Maintains data management systems.
• Provides timely and accurate data for process control.
• Supports laboratory goals to meet operational excellence.
• Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal regulatory standards.
• Purchases supplies and maintain inventories.
• Assures that the quality of materials used and products made meet specifications.
• Responsible and accountable for all laboratory activities under their direction.
• Maintains ISO quality system requirements relating to data generation and calibration.
• Assures compliance with all company programs.
• Supports management with special projects and workflow process improvements and other duties as assigned.
