The Job

The team is looking for a Revenue Operations Analyst tosupport the Go to Market team. The role will consist of supporting the overall revenue generation and optimization process of the organization. You will work closely with various teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and customer support, to ensure efficient and streamlined operations that maximize revenue growth. Your analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to identify process improvements will contribute to the company's success in achieving its revenue targets.

As part of Own Company's Summer 2024 Emerging Talent Program, the start date for this role will be June 3rd, 2024. We at Own prioritize a learning environment, and through our Emerging Talent Program will be offering early career hires a comprehensive development program. Through lunch and learns, workshops and events featuring internal and external speakers, new hires will enhance their understanding of the SaaS industry while refining communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

Your Day-to-Day Role

  • Analyze sales and revenue data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards that provide insights into key performance metrics, such as revenue by product, region, customer segment, and sales representative.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations to optimize revenue strategies.
  • Document revenue-related processes, workflows, and best practices to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Liaise with sales, marketing, finance, and customer support teams to align revenue strategies and ensure effective communication.
  • Contribute to revenue forecasting by analyzing historical data, market trends, and sales pipeline information.

Your Work Experience

  • The ideal candidate is self-driven, can demonstrate a strong work-ethic, and has aspirations to grow within the company
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Mathematics, Economics or a relevant field, 0-2 years of internship experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in Google Suite
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, Keynote, SQL, Python are a plus
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Able to effectively manage competing priorities; think and act proactively, and creatively solve problems.
  • A growth mindset – always making improvements, trying new things, rolling with changes, failing fast, and a can-do attitude.
  • A keen eye for detail
  • An analytical mindset with a problem solving attitude.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

Important Details

This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will work 3 days per week minimum out of our New Jersey office to maximize collaboration and interaction with sales and business teams. Travel to events may be required.
