This position will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Overture in Montana. This individual will be responsible for adapting and refining our proven model to align with the unique needs and dynamics of the state. As a creative and innovative thinker, the Associate Director will not only execute existing strategies but also explore new avenues and possibilities for growth. This position is responsible for developing a team of passionate individuals and developing a program in alignment with Overture’s goals for the people we serve and our values. This includes interviewing/hiring/supervising staff, meeting with individuals seeking services or individuals in services, families, guardians, and other team members to explore opportunities with Overture, regular travel to various locations, availability for meetings and events outside of office hours, and coordination with necessary parties to bring in new intakes and deliver quality services.

Pay Range: $50,000-56,000

Minimum Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, or equivalent in closely related field or five years of experience in Human Services.

· 2-3 years’ supervisory experience preferred.

· Must possess professional and expert knowledge of family dynamics and methods of crisis intervention.

· Must have solid computer and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time.

· Must be able and willing to work hours outside of normal working hours to respond to emergencies or to otherwise meet the needs of the people we serve and their families.

· Must have consistent access to reliable transportation allowing for quick response in an emergency.

· Must have consistent access to reliable transportation that will allow for quick response in an emergency.

· Must possess a valid Driver’s License from the state in which you reside, maintain a clean driving record, and proof of insurance per company insurance guidelines.

· Must pass a motor vehicle record (MVR), background check, and other screening per Company requirements.

Essential Job Functions (Included, but not limited to):

· Serve as a charismatic and persuasive ambassador for Overture, effectively communicating the value proposition of our programs to key stakeholders, including potential individuals needing services, partners, and community leaders. Develop compelling testimonies of those receiving Overture services, presentations, and marketing materials to attract interest and generate buy-in.

· Assist People Operations throughout the entire employee/provider life cycle to include hiring, terminations, orientation, training, performance, and compliance.

· Work closely with the leadership team to understand the core principles of our successful programs implemented in other states. Utilize this knowledge to tailor and customize the model for maximum effectiveness in the Montana market.

· Constantly seek out new ideas, strategies, and approaches to enhance our programs and stay ahead of the curve. Identify emerging trends, technologies, and best practices to integrate into our offerings to drive innovation and differentiation.

· Take initiative and demonstrate a proactive approach to achieving goals. Actively pursue opportunities for growth and expansion, whether through forging strategic partnerships, securing funding, or exploring new markets and demographics.

· Thrive in an autonomous work environment, where you will be expected to take ownership of your projects and drive them to successful completion with minimal supervision. Demonstrate a high level of self-motivation, accountability, and resourcefulness.

· Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including beken support (operations, finance, IT, marketing, etc.), to ensure alignment and cohesion in the execution of program development initiatives. Leverage the expertise and insights of colleagues to inform decision-making and drive collective success.

· Have a good understanding and ability to apply and articulate Administrative Rules of Montana and applicable rules and regulations.

· Monitor caseload distribution and recommend changes as needed to ensure workloads are equal and are able to effectively support the people we serve. Cover caseloads and/or staffing when staff are unavailable to ensure the people we serve always have a point of contact and the necessary supports as identified in their plan of care.

· Handle complaints from the people we serve, providers, staff, and others who interact or have relationships with Overture. Conduct investigations as necessary to determine accuracy of statements. Address any follow-up or retraining issues with personnel.

· Develop positive behavioral strategies and supports to assist people with maladaptive behaviors and help increase utilization of positive coping mechanisms and other replacement behaviors.

· Provide training to staff if any trends are identified in the quarterly Incident Report Trend Analysis by the QA department.

· Be available as an on-call representative in case of emergencies, critical incidents, and other issues requiring leadership support.

· Work with the Overture Intake and Development to facilitate meetings between Overture and prospective persons who wish to receive services, their families, providers, case managers, and/or other support persons.

· Model and oversee compliance with safety and wellness requirements. Promotes a strong safety culture and ensures a safe environment for the people we serve, team members and co-workers.

  • Physical Requirements - Requires repetitive manual and finger dexterity and eye- hand coordination; requires the ability to use all office equipment; and the ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds using appropriate body mechanics.

  • Pressure Factor- This position may require employees to adapt to a frequently changing environment, including handling and de-escalating incidents. This position will interact with individuals who are intellectually and developmentally delayed, may be frail, confused, and at times engage in verbal or physical aggression. Accordingly, it is sometimes necessary to deal with unpleasant situations with the need to problem solve.
