Overton Security is Hiring an Unarmed Security Officer Near Los Angeles, CA
Overton is currently hiring for Unarmed Foot Patrol Security Officers in the Los Angeles Area for a local highrise shopping center. This posting is for a foot patrol of an 8 floored shopping center with high traffic. All candidates must be able to work well with other officers and be able to climb stairs during their foot patrols.
Pay Rate/Range: $17.50/hr. paid weekly

Monday- OFF
Tuesday- OFF
Wednesday-12A-8A
Thursday-12A-8A
Friday-12A-8A
Saturday-12A-8A
Sunday-12A-8A
Weekly Hours- 40 Hours (30 min Unpaid lunch)

Job Description:
As an Overton Professional Security Officer you will be a part of a results oriented team responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for all our serviced properties. It is expected that you will demonstrate behavior consistent with Overton Security core value of serving, protecting and caring.

Responsibilities
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
- Monitor entrance of vehicles or people in the property
- Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
- Monitor perimeter fencing for any breaches or damage
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
- Provide assistance to people in need
- Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences
- Understand when to contact SOC, PD, client or management
- Maintain a friendly demeanor towards employees when arriving or leaving
Qualified applicants for Security Officer Positions must meet the minimum requirements as described below:
- High school diploma or GED
- Have a current BSIS Guard Card
- Have excellent English oral and written communication skills
- Be computer savvy and have the ability to utilize innovative, wireless technology
- Have flexible and weekend availability
- Maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standards
- Must have a neat and professional appearance
