Sales Representative Responsibilities:

1. Prospecting

Each Representative will be provided with a large list of properties of which we are preferred vendors, including top property management groups such as Greystar, Bell Partners, RPM, Asset Living, Kairoi, and more.

Sales Representatives are required to proactively identify and pursue potential clients using various methods such as networking, cold calling, social media, and community engagement.

Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and track their progression through the sales and restoration process.

Meet minimum monthly, quarterly and yearly quotas and KPI's.

Upon success, Sales Reps will be rewarded with monthly, quarterly and yearly bonuses, including opportunities to advance in responsibility and receive promotion to team lead, and the opportunity to double commissions through high performance.

2. Product and Service Expertise

Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all roofing products, services, and solutions offered by the company, including an understanding of company specific processes, insurance related expertise, best practices and manufacturer standards.

Understand company CRM (Acculynx), G-Suite, Slack, Google Drive, Annotable, Hail Trace, SalesRabbit, Etc.

3. Site Evaluations

Perform detailed site evaluations to assess roofing conditions, take measurements and extremely detailed documentation of property, both on roofs and exterior walk arounds, as well as assessed internal damages as needed.

Provide clients with professional, superior understanding of damages, methods of repair, insurance expertise and detailed, proactive attention to detail in problem solving, customer service, insurance processes and opportunities of sale.

4. Negotiation and Sales Closure

Engage in a client-first mentality, educating and informing clients through recommended repairs and processes for what is best for the customer as the highest priority.

Closing deals. Our representatives are expected to close sales through their understanding of our processes, offering solutions above and beyond by listening to what the property owner's needs intently, and upselling the value of products beyond minimum repair.

Being proactive and creative in prospecting and generating new and innovative avenues of business development, maintaining consistent revenue monthly, quarterly and yearly, and strategic in building relationships with insurance agents, real estate agents, brokers, property managers, suppliers, and industry partners.

5. Customer Service and Follow-Up

Provide exceptional customer service, including addressing inquiries, concerns, prompt response, detailed and consistent communication, and expert knowledge on addressing their concerns.

Stand out in personalized care for the property owner, showing up on time, proactive in communicating with internal team members and supervisors to ensure customer advocation, and excellence in moving the damaged property to full restoration.

6. Collaboration with Internal Teams

Detail documentation through company resources and prompt, thorough communication.

Work closely with the operations and project management teams to ensure client expectations are met and projects are executed smoothly, while communicating with the client promptly every step along the way.

Contribute to team in expertise, sales knowledge, and collaboration for bettering sales process, customer experience, avenues for prospecting, and ideas for generating new business.

7. Sales Reporting and Documentation

Accurately record all sales activities, client interactions, and transactions in the company’s CRM system (Acculynx).

Regularly review sales performance against targets, analyzing any shortfalls or opportunities for improvement.

Attend weekly meetings, showing up prepared to report on sales pipeline, client needs, contracts closed, project updates, and opportunities for new business.

8. Professional Development

Continually seek to improve sales skills and roofing knowledge, including attending training sessions, workshops, and industry events.

Stay motivated and focused on sales goals, understanding the direct impact of efforts on earnings.

Sales Representative skills for a Commission-Based Roofing Company:

4. Problem-Solving Ability

Capable of identifying issues and developing effective solutions.

Proactive in finding solutions for closing sales techniques, researching independently new ways to develop business, expertise in presenting damages, methods for repair, and sincere understanding and care for each individual property.

Ability to think on one's feet during negotiations or client meetings.

5. Resilience and Adaptability

Resilient in the face of rejection or challenging sales targets.

Adaptable to changing market conditions and client needs.

Industry Experience:

6 months minimum prior commercial and residential sales experience preferred but not required***

Driving License:

A valid driver’s license and mode of transportation is required for traveling to client locations.

In closing, it's important to emphasize that this position operates on a purely commission-based structure. Candidates should have experience and proven success comfortable with residential or commercial roofing or solar sales. The commission rate starts at 8% RCV under the guidance of a team leader, with the opportunity to increase to 10% upon achieving a sales milestone of $100,000 in revenue in one month. Additionally, upon $100,000 milestone, the representative will be eligible to receive company leads on rotation. The representative will be promoted to a 12% commission rate upon achieving 3 consecutive months at $100,000 in revenue, with the opportunity to be promoted to Team Lead. Each Team Lead is allowed 5 hires to manage, advise and grow into the same structure, of which they will receive the 4% and 2% of each sales representative they train until their representative has met their milestones to earn their 12% commission tier.
