**Position Overview:**

Outlier Construction is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Receptionist & Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Medford, Oregon. This dual-role position will be responsible for managing all facets of accounts payable, including entering credit card receipts, verifying statements, and completing various accounting-related tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Accounts Payable Management:**

- Process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers.

- Manage all aspects of accounts payable, including coding, batching, and reconciling invoices.

- Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies, resolving issues promptly and professionally.

2. **Credit Card Receipts:**

- Enter credit card receipts into the accounting system accurately and in a timely manner.

- Verify credit card statements against receipts and reconcile any discrepancies as needed.

- Maintain organized records of credit card transactions and receipts for auditing purposes.

3. **Accounting Tasks:**

- Complete various accounting-related tasks, such as data entry, filing, and generating reports.

- Assist with month-end close processes, including account reconciliations and financial statement preparation.

- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial policies and procedures.

4. **Receptionist Duties:**

- Greet visitors and clients with professionalism and courtesy, directing them to the appropriate personnel or department.

- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries or transfer calls to the appropriate staff member.

- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring that promotional materials and company information are readily available.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in accounting or finance preferred.

- Previous experience in accounts payable or accounting-related roles preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with vendors, clients, and employees.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).

- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive financial information.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
