The Sr.Designer will support all parts of the design process, from brainstorming concepts, to sketching, to creating photo-realistic renderings and for meetings, through final approval stages for all retail formats such as point of purchase displays, events, pop-up shops and freestanding retail stores. This person will provide creative and innovative options that take into consideration the merchandising objectives, communication needs and relevance for client’s needs. The designer must be able to work in a highly collaborative, fast paced environment to meet tight deadlines on a large number of projects.
Experience and skill level will determine Designer versus Sr. Designer title.
Responsibilities
· Creates merchandising solutions for both retailers and brand marketers.
· Works projects from initial concept to final renderings, as well as update existing displays with a focus on unique, yet practical solutions to clients' marketing objectives
· Assesses information provided by the customer, Commercial team, and translates it into creative design solutions, considering visual and structural integrity and cost-effective manufacturability and assembly
· Obtains approval of concept by submitting ideas to team for critique and approval
· Designs and produces visual communication in a variety of formats and materials, including presentations and material sample boards.
