Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a committed Nurse Practitioner to perform Veteran claim examinations. The ideal candidate will possess their own office space to see veterans, collaborate with a physician unless they are an autonomous NP, and hold their own malpractice insurance. This role requires a detail-oriented professional dedicated to supporting veterans through their claim process.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Examinations: Conduct detailed physical assessments of veterans to evaluate service-connected conditions.
- Medical History Review: Analyze veterans' medical records to understand existing conditions and their service connections.
- Documentation: Accurately document findings and be attentive to addendum.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing
- Current Nurse Practitioner license
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to perform a wide range of medical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Prior experience in patient assessment and treatment planning
