Shop Foreman - Automotive Dealership

Location: Ourisman Toyota of Richmond, Henrico, VA 23294 Hours: Full-time

As part of our team, you’ll be working in a fast-paced and professional environment. We’re currently seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to join us.

Role and Responsibilities: As a Shop Foreman, your duties will include:

• Assisting in training, developing, and motivating service technicians while monitoring their performance.
• Ensuring proper repair techniques are being used.
• Diagnosing complex vehicle issues and providing expert solutions
• Scheduling training sessions as necessary to enhance repair and service skills.
• Staying up to date on product changes and new products.
• Conducting quality control inspections to ensure work meets Toyota's standards
• Collaborating with service advisors and management to meet customer expectations and service goals
• Managing and supervising employees in the service department.
• Maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure efficient operations.
• Adhering to protocols and safety compliance standards.
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
• Coordinating workflows to optimize productivity.
• Performing other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate should have:

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Master Diagnostic Tech Certification (MDT).
• ASE Certification (Required)
• At least five years of dealer-level or large facility experience.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
• An unrestricted driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Strong technical performance history.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• A positive attitude, professional appearance, and excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in driving both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.
