Responsibilities:Counseling / Therapy ServicesProvide individual and small group sessionsCommunicate clearly with familiesCollaborate with the Head of School on crisis responseSupport and sustain trauma-informed practices (possibly staff PD workshop)Participate in MTSS process/whole-child support teams, work with team to identify, provide and monitor support plansSupport restorative justice and Community Core-based problem solving practicesFacilitate circles or mediation as neededQualifications/Skills:Bachelor’s Degree preferredCounseling experience, preferably at middle-school level, particularly with economically and racially/ethnically diverse populationsStrong speaking, written and verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills, including professional collaboration and cultural competence Superior organizational and time management skills Proficiency with computers and software programs, especially Google-suite products
