25 hoursREPORTS TO : Director of Maintenance, Custodial and Food Services, Assistant Director of Food Service and Food Service ManagersQUALIFICATIONS : Skilled in operating a ten-key adding machine.
Perform basic entry bookkeeping.Capable of working in a sitting position for prolonged periods of time.High School education or equivalent.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Maintains an accurate daily count record of all meals served.
Prepares daily and monthly reports for the Food Service Department.Handles all food service money : counting, balancing, receipting, making out deposit slips, etc.
Performs all duties in an accurate, effective and proficient manner.Works with students and faculty in a polite and sociable manner.
Issues all meal tickets to students and keeps track of free, reduced and paid status of students.Maintains accurate records of those students who do not have a lunch ticket and reconciles the charges when new tickets are purchased.
Maintains an in-line count.Supervises students as lunches are served.Writes notices to students and / or parents for tickets due.
