We are seeking a Director of Talent to support the Otis business across the Americas and World Headquarters to develop and drive the strategic talent priorities for our organization. Your role as Director of Talent is critical to the development, movement, and engagement of our colleagues to create a culture of support, growth, and performance. This role will reside within the Otis Talent CoE and have significant focus on learning & development, talent management, and engagement. It will report directly to the Senior Director, Talent & Diversity, Equity & Inclusion for Otis Americas and WHQ. As the successful candidate, you will be a progressive and innovative thinker with experience in strategic planning who can manage an inclusive and effective talent team. You will need to establish strong partnerships with business leaders and cross-functional HR teams to provide integrated, seamless, and high-quality talent processes and programs to Otis Americas and WHQ. Essential Responsibilities In partnership with the Global Talent Center of Excellence, you will leverage your leadership capability for building world-class talent solutions to implement offerings for Otis across our Americas region. You and your team will ensure that Otis engages and develops our most important asset; our people. This includes designing and delivering learning curriculum and coordinating business run programs to increase organizational capability. You will lead the talent review and succession process including planning, execution, and ownership of development items for your region. You will partner with the Talent Acquisition COE on early career and diversity outreach strategy. You will direct key talent pool development (including interns, early career/rotational programs and senior leader development). You will manage the employee engagement survey process and support the use of the global learning management system (LMS) and performance practices (tools and process). You will lead the collaboration with HR business partners and business leaders to determine key needs and develop strategies for closing skills gaps. Be a thought leader who brings new ideas, benchmarks externally, and strives to the best! Education / Certifications University degree with 10 years of relevant experience Or an advanced degree with 8 years of relevant experience Basic Qualifications 8 years of experience in human resources with a heavy focus in talent Ability to define strategy, develop and implement vision In-depth knowledge of best practices, latest trends, benchmark data in the talent space Project management skills that range from conception to planning, implementation and evaluation of projects Strong interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships and influence across a matrixed environment Proven ability to use analytical data to measure performance, support decision making, develop action plans, and execute for performance improvement Location / Work Arrangement: The position is based in Atlanta, GA,; however, there is an opportunity for the position to be hybrid (office and remote) or fully remote.
