Date Posted: 2024-04-05 Country: United States of America Location: OT325: NSP - BLOOMFIELD, CT 212 WEST NEWBERRY RD, BLOOMFIELD, CT, 06002 USA The International Customer Service Team at the Otis Service Center seeks a highly motivated Representative specializing in documentation and logistics to support our global customers. The successful candidate will be a self-starter excited about building a better process to support Otis’ customer commitments while strictly adhering to US Customs requirements. Essential Responsibilities: Act as liaison between customer, shipping, engineering, supplier, and international trade compliance. Support requests from international and domestic field office personnel, carriers, and freight forwarders to resolve logistic and customer order accuracy issues as they occur. Analyze and maintain export records and special documents; generate commercial invoices. Ensure adherence to current Customs requirements based on order origin and destination. Efficiently and effectively communicate across multiple departments and platforms. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of parts and packages. Demonstrated track record of embracing new ideas and implementing process improvements. Requirements: Bachelor's degree required. Self-motivated critical thinker with solid communication and exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills. Manage multiple tasks and be willing to work in a fast-paced, agile team environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Elevator parts knowledge and technical knowledge/ability to read engineering drawings are a plus. Licensed Customs Broker is strongly preferred. Apply today to join us and build what’s next!
