Our busy Hospice agency is rapidly growing and we’re seeking an experienced home health aide to assist us in providing superior in-home hospice care to our clients. Our ideal candidate will have excellent organization and communication skills, and 1-3 years of experience working as an HHA or caregiver. You’ll assist our patients with companionship, basic medical care, light housekeeping duties, personal care, and hygiene tasks so that they are empowered to live happily at home. $20 - $23 hourly

• Ambulate patients as indicated in the care plan, and help patients complete exercises and physical therapy as needed
• Support patients to help them complete personal hygiene tasks like bathing, grooming, toileting, shaving, dressing, etc.
• Reinforce accurate and up-to-date care records and work with the case manager to implement the patient care plan
• Maintain psychological and emotional support for patients and family members - provide quality companionship

• Excellent communication and organizational skills are valuable, as is a compassionate, empathetic, and kind personality
• Current CPR certification and first aid training is needed and you must be able to pass a full employment background check, drug test, and physical
• Completion of home health aide training programs from community colleges are acceptable - Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) is a plus
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required - some college is an asset
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, you may be required to stoop, bend, reach, and transfer patients up to 250 lbs as needed
