Forklift Driver 2nd Shift

Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm

• Move product from one place to another using the forklift
• Load, unload, move, products
• Load, and unload machines with raw material
• Inspect products to be moved for accuracy, and safely
• Load and offload materials onto and off pallets skids, and vehicles
• Place the forklift and other lifting tools over, under, or around loaded boxes, pallets, or skids
• Ensure that materials loaded to be transported are secure
• Ensure that products are safely moved to designated areas
• Weigh merchandize and record weight or other production data on labels or tags-as needed
• Observe and comply with quality, environment, health, and safety procedures
• Ensure that the products are properly stacked
• Carry out routine checks on the forklift and other devices
• Report to the supervisor
• Stack and empty inbound shipments
• Carry out regular check and maintenance on the forklift and other control equipment
• Recognize and report mechanical and electrical flaws to the warehouse manager
• Move product to different locations with use of either forklift or by hand (pallet jack)
• Any other duties as instructed by the supervisor

3-5 years forklift experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred with a Solid Safety Record! The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented and quality-conscious and highly organized. Good computer, math and measuring skills required; digital caliper, micrometer, and other precision measuring instruments necessary to ensure correct material is placed in production.
