Contributing Newsletter Writer - Contractor

We’re seeking a part-time newsletter writer that can write one must-read, must-share email per week for people with GI issues.

What You'll Do

• Write, edit, upload, and send a weekly newsletter for people with GI issues
• Research, find, and curate the most critical news, valuable resources, and interesting products in the space.
• Own content calendar and backlog of new ideas / data-driven topics for future content
• Create compelling, crisp copy while applying and championing our brand voice.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders, including marketing team, patients, clinical teams, product, B2B, sales and more and more to develop engaging stories and content 
• Drive new subscribers through creative, consistent quality and growth initiatives and campaigns 
• Craft 1-2 social media posts/month with content repurposed from newsletter 

What You Need

• Minimum 3-5 years experience writing for a consumer audience, preferably in digital health & healthcare.
• Deep interest in data, research and insights to drive constant improvement and optimization, including a strong understanding of SEO and search trends 
• Proven experience balancing multiple writing projects at once, managing from ideation to execution to meet deadlines 
• Good familiarity with email deployment platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot or similar platforms preferred
• And ideally an understanding of and/or personal experience with the sensitivity/potential stigma around GI issues

Hours & Expectations

• Estimated 10 hours a week

Willing and able to join 1-2 meetings a week to outline campaign calendar, elicit feedback and connect with Oshi Health internal and external stakeholders
