- POSITION SUMMARY
- Responsible for assisting the Therapy Services staff with patient care and treatment set-up.

- RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Patient Care:
- Assists in patient movement/transport around the clinic while under the supervision of the therapist. Will participate in a patient transfer when accompanied and supervised by a clinician.
- Facilitates patient flow by setting up treatments as instructed by therapists.
- Clinical Support:
- Maintains patient care equipment and examination/treatment areas following guidelines for cleanliness, infection control and safety procedures
- Takes inventory of supplies and stocks supplies, equipment and linens. Alerts Director to purchasing and equipment repair needs.
- Provides clerical support or other support to Director and physical therapists as required.
- Responsible for maintaining clean linen stock.

- Is considerate of others in the work environment with regard to taking breaks or meal periods, use of computer and phone, noise level in the department, etc.

- Provides assistance and support to leadership in implementing policies and procedures as necessary.
- Actively participates in training, and conducting day to day work activity by adhering to all policies and procedures as enumerated in compliance and risk management programs.

- QUALIFICATIONS
- Education, Experience, Certification and Licensure Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor degree in Exercise Science or Exercise Physiology preferred. Prior experience in a medical office setting desired. Customer service experience and basic computer skills required.
