Orthopedic Institute is currently recruiting a full-time Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO of the Orthopedic Institute will serve on the leadership team and provide input into strategic and financial opportunities. The CFO will present financial information to the Board of Directors, Finance and Operations Committee and Real Estate Board of Directors. They will also provide direction for Accounts Payable, General Accounting, Financial Reporting, Revenue Cycle, Payroll, Retirement Plan Administration and Risk Management. Further, the CFO will be responsible for directing and overseeing primary accounting and finance functions for all departments or entities which includes general ledger accounting, internal financial reporting, financial planning (budgeting), financial analysis and pro-forma preparation of proposed Orthopedic Institute acquisitions and expansions and have direct oversight of the billing and collection process. These functions include establishing and maintaining, in accordance with accepted accounting principles (GAAP); accounting principles, practices, procedures and other organizational matters. This position is a key point of contact for senior management and physician leaders of the Orthopedic Institute and Orthopedic Institute Real Estate Group. The CFO will have the following direct reports: Financial Analyst, Accounts Payable Specialist and Payroll Specialist.

We currently have locations in Sioux Falls, Brookings, Mitchell and Yankton and numerous outreach locations in the region.
