OrthoNY is Hiring a Payroll and HRIS Administrator Near Latham, NY

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Payroll & HRIS Administrator performs all necessary activities to processes five separate company payrolls accurately and timely as well as supports and maintains the Payroll and HRIS software. This position is also responsible for routinely auditing payroll and HRIS processes, documenting and maintaining related procedures, and preparing routine and ad-hoc reports for management and other operational departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Review all timecards weekly for proper payroll processing;

· Communicate with department leadership regarding payroll and/or HRIS opportunities and issues, working collaboratively to ensure their understanding of their duties and responsibilities;

· Verify payroll data integrity including wage, position, benefit deduction and other miscellaneous entries through a system of multiple checks and routine audits;

· Liaison with payroll provider to identify issues and work collaboratively to resolve them or implement changes or enhancements;

· Process bi-weekly payroll and ensure all individuals are paid appropriately and timely;

· Resolve any situations where an individual is not paid or not paid timely and implement preventative measure to ensure everyone if paid timely;

· Run and analyze post-payroll reports including transmission of payroll and benefit related reporting and distribution of payroll related reports to management;

· Analyze payroll process performance and make suggestions for improvements;

· Function as the lead point of contact for any payroll related questions;

· Perform audits on HR and payroll processes and documents, including hiring, termination of service, and payroll administration, when required;

· Document payroll and HRIS processes, identifying HR concerns, and compiling data analysis reports, process manuals and checklists;

· Complete routine metrics and performance related reporting for senior leadership and the partnership;

· Establish necessary carrier connections with Payroll & HRIS provider, monitor/maintain regular reporting and address and resolve any anomalies;

· Work with Benefits to ensure accurate reconciliation of benefit invoices;

· Promote effective collaboration and provide support to Benefits and Talent Acquisition.

· Additional tasks, assignments and/or projects may be assigned, as needed;

· Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required;

· HR and/or payroll certification desired;

· Minimum two (2) years of human resources/payroll experience preferred;

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms required;

· Knowledge of payroll and applicable laws and an ability to keep up with any related changes;

· Flexibility to work in and adapt to an ever changing and fast-paced environment;

· Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills;

OTHER INFORMATION

· This is an “in office” position based in our Central Business Office located in Latham, NY.

· This position requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Ability to lift up to 15 pounds periodically.

· This position requires periodic travel to and between practice locations and related companies, as needed and required.

· This position requires more than 40 hours a week including periodic meetings after regular business hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
