About the School

Founded in 1998, the school has grown from a small institution to serve over 4,000 students in grades K-8. Spread across 12 modern buildings on four campuses, the school is a cornerstone of the community, fostering the success of its students and families.

Essential Functions

• Deliver instruction to students following established lesson plans.
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment tailored to student maturity and interests.
• Uphold a safe and orderly classroom atmosphere.
• Maintain consistent routines and established school / classroom procedures.
• Project a professional demeanor to serve as a role model for students.
• Remain at school for the entire school day unless otherwise directed by the principal.
• Establish clear rules that promote self-discipline and responsibility.
• Communicate effectively with parents as needed.
• Meet and instruct assigned classes at designated locations and times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the school.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate or out-of-state equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree if not certified.
• Pennsylvania Criminal Record Check Clearance.
• Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance.
• FBI Criminal Background Clearance.
• Demonstrated Knowledge
• MS Office Suite proficiency.
• Fundamentals of working with diverse students, parents, colleagues, and leadership.
• Demonstrated Skills
• Ability to follow instructions from the classroom teacher and / or principal.
• Effective time management and classroom management skills.
• Ability to work well with students of all ages.
