Skills required: Individuals with experience managing network tooling Python and Ansible skills is a plus.

• Strong knowledge on Cumulus switches
• Strong knowledge/experience on Network Automation using Ansible and with Cumulus switches.
• Strong knowledge/experience in Cisco 5K/7K/9K switches
• Hands on experience in deploying/configuring/troubleshooting Datacenter LAN solutions.
• Strong knowledge/experience in configuring, managing, troubleshooting BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
• Strong knowledge/experience in troubleshooting STP/VLAN issues
• Strong knowledge/experience in configuring VSS/VDC/vPC in Cisco Nexus switches.
• Experience with DNS/DHCP/SNMP/AAA services.

Key Responsibilities:

• The responsibilities of this role will be to work with infrastructure tools & monitoring team to analyze and implement New Relic monitors for wide range applications. Here the goal is to provide a pro-active escalation and response to end user impacting events that are caused by application, network, or platform issues.

Technical Experience:

• Implement, support, and maintain New Relic for Infrastructure, synthetics, and application performance monitoring.
• Hands-on experience in configuring New Relic for all applicable stacks.
• Deep knowledge of NRQL, Insights, alerts, and policies.
• Hands on experience in New Relic infrastructure and APM agent Installation and troubleshooting.
• Deployment and production support on heterogeneous systems like UNIX Linux Windows environment.
• Hands on Experience with Synthetic URL Monitoring on a wide range of applications.
• Hands on Experience on APM & Browser Monitoring on a wide range of applications and performance analytics knowledge.
• Hands on experience in New Relic on-host integrations like AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, MSSQL, Kafka, Oracle, MySQL, and similar 3rd party enterprise applications.
• Experience in creating insights Dashboards for all business needs.
• Knowledge on programming languages like shell, Java & python .
• Knowledge of Chef will be an added advantage.
