This multifaceted role ensures the smooth operation, safety, and functionality of our entire K-8 school. You'll tackle a wide range of tasks:

• Building Systems: Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, and low-voltage electrical.
• Groundskeeping: Oversee lawns, gardens, and address minor landscaping issues.
• Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems before they become major.
• Minor Repairs & Construction: Fix carpentry issues, patch drywall, and assist with larger projects.
• Event Management: Assist with setting up and breaking down for events, ensuring functionality and safety.
• Pest Control: Implement preventative measures to maintain a healthy learning environment.
• Overall Support: Maintain records, ensure safety compliance, operate light machinery, and collaborate with staff.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma (vocational training or associate's degree a plus).
• 2-3 years of facilities maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of various building systems and safety procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Ability to lift moderate weights (up to 100 lbs) and work flexible hours.
