Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, such as hotels, residential properties, and other facilities. Your attention to detail and excellent customer service skills will contribute to creating a pleasant and comfortable environment for our guests.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and common areas
- Make beds and change linens
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
- Perform floor care duties, including carpet cleaning and floor polishing
- Follow established procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly
Skills:
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively
