Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled technician to join our team in the capacity of a Moisture, Attic, Crawl Space, and Termite Technician. This role involves inspecting, diagnosing, and treating moisture-related issues, conducting attic and crawl space inspections and maintenance, as well as performing termite treatments and preventative measures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building structures, moisture control techniques, and pest management practices.

Responsibilities:

• Moisture Control:
• Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify moisture-related issues.
• Recommend and implement appropriate solutions for moisture control, including installing vapor barriers, dehumidifiers, and drainage systems.
• Perform repairs and maintenance to mitigate moisture problems, such as sealing cracks and waterproofing foundations.
• Attic Work:
• Inspect attic spaces for signs of insulation deficiencies, ventilation issues, and pest infestations.
• Install, repair, or replace attic insulation as needed to improve energy efficiency and prevent heat loss.
• Ensure proper attic ventilation to reduce moisture buildup and prevent mold growth.
• Crawl Space Work:
• Enter and inspect crawl spaces to assess structural integrity, moisture levels, and pest activity.
• Install and repair vapor barriers to prevent moisture infiltration and protect wooden structures from decay.
• Seal gaps and cracks to prevent pest entry and improve energy efficiency.
• Termite Technician:
• Conduct termite inspections using appropriate tools and techniques to detect infestations and assess damage.
• Apply termiticides and other treatments to eradicate termite colonies and prevent future infestations.
• Educate customers on termite prevention measures and recommend necessary actions to safeguard their properties.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in moisture control, attic work, crawl space maintenance, and termite treatment is preferred.
• Knowledge of building construction, materials, and structural components.
• Familiarity with pest management practices and the safe handling of chemicals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
• Capable of lifting and carrying heavy equipment and materials up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working at heights and in potentially hazardous environments.
• Be able to work in hot spaces up to 130 degrees for a period of time.
