The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Vice President of Sales, North America based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area , who is responsible for leading our sales efforts in our North American region. The Regional VP of Sales is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets, expand market share, and drive business growth. The RVP leads a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and customer-centricity. This role requires a keen understanding of the sales process, exceptional leadership skills, and a track record of delivering outstanding results in a competitive market.

  • Strategic Leadership
    • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities and potential challenges.
    • Set ambitious revenue targets and create action plans to achieve and exceed them.
    • Drive a high-performance and innovative mindset in the North American sales team
    • Help Origina achieve ambitious revenue and customer growth on our path to 1,000 customers.
  • Team Management
    • Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team to perform at their best and reach individual and team targets.
    • Set clear performance goals and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to drive continuous improvement.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages teamwork and personal development.
    • Lead the Sales team in line with our High-Performance values/behaviours, and Non-negotiables
  • Sales Operations
    • Oversee the sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and post-sales support.
    • Work closely with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment and provide insights to enhance product-market fit.
    • Monitor sales performance metrics, pipeline, and forecasting accuracy, regularly reporting to executive management.
  • Client Relationships
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, strategic partners, and industry influencers.
    • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, identifying opportunities to add value and address concerns promptly.
  • Sales Enablement
    • Provide the sales team with the necessary tools, training, and resources to excel in their roles.
    • Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate innovative sales techniques and technologies to enhance performance.
  • Budget Management
    • Develop and manage the sales budget, optimizing resources to achieve the best return on investment.
    • Implement cost-control measures without compromising sales effectiveness.
  • Ability to work in a way that aligns with our values of Trust, Fairness, Relationships, and Opportunity

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven experience as a successful sales leader, with at least 15 years of experience in a similar capacity
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a fast-growth, disruptive company/sector
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse sales team
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions
  • In-depth knowledge of sales processes, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and sales analytics tools
  • Ability to travel frequently within the designated region
