DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities of the Communications and Marketing Strategist include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Leading the development, maintenance, and execution of Oregon Tilth’s marketing and communications strategy to increase strategic partnerships internally and externally.
• Managing and executing internal and external communications and marketing strategies.
• Developing multi-faceted communications and marketing strategies to educate, motivate, and influence target audiences while connecting brand experiences and projects.
• Providing management an analysis of audience segmentation to help define Oregon Tilth’s outreach strategies for branding, messaging, and positioning.
• Managing, creating, and developing high-quality, consistent content, collateral and user experience materials across the organization and various communication channels, including print and digital assets.
• Conducting research on industry and client demographics to create effective messaging for campaigns.
• Supporting the production of training programs for internal and external customers to ensure brand awareness, accessibility and consistency.
• Collaborating with the organization to ensure communication is engaging, accurate, accessible, and timely.
• Working across platforms and with a multitude of tools including writing, graphic elements and video, and audio.
• Demonstrating experience and knowledge in best practices in communications and marketing.
• Championing diversity, equity and inclusion.
